customer: i have an injury/illness

doctors: we’ll get you into surgery right away

they do surgery

character: their physical pain is a metaphor for my emotional pain

someone else: has sex in an on-call room

character who’s barely been in the episode: collapses

doctors/nurses: HE’S CRASHING

patient: SAVE HIM! GOD PLEASe

beep beep beep beep beep

doctor: push 50cc of epi and 300 bps of ozymandiate

they save him and go to the bar and someone makes a bad decision

meredith v.o.: but no matter how much pain youre in…… youre gonna die someday!
